Ample on-site parking

Generous parking for guests arriving in multiple vehicles, plus an optional detached covered carport. The walk from the carport to the house is not covered.

Outdoor living

Enjoy two screened porches and a private primary-suite patio with a double chaise lounge and intimate two-person bistro table.

Finishing touches underway

We are preparing new kitchen appliances, interior and exterior painting, stonework repairs and stairway reinforcement ahead of our anticipated opening. Improvements are in progress and not yet complete.

Welcome to The Retreat at Brushy Lane.

We created The Retreat around a simple idea: getting away should feel warm, comfortable, and unhurried.

Tucked into the woods along Smith Lake, this is a place for slow mornings, long lake days, dinners that linger, and room to simply settle in.

More than anything, we hope it becomes a place that is lived in, laughed in, returned to, and remembered.
